ACCO Brands, one of the world''s largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $1.8 billion, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate on 1st shift in our Manufacturing area. This position is responsible for multiple warehouse functions as a member of a warehouse and inventory control team. Specific duties include such tasks as receives/transfers material by loading and unloading trailers; counts material and performs necessary tasks to enter material into computerized inventory in a fast and efficient manner; operates lift truck or other material handling equipment in the performance of duties which include picking, kitting, and stocking of raw material for fabrication and assembly lines.
Summary of job duties:
Loads and unload trucks, checks for accuracy the paper work (BOL) with computer program.
Scans tickets in and out, counting inventory and making tickets as required.
Performs cycle counts to account for any documented inventory variations.
Sorts UPS separating raw material from tear down and personal packages.
Reviews and audits incoming materials to ensure compliance with established quality receiving standards.
Operates lift truck or other material handling equipment in the performance of duties.
Delivers raw material to fabrication and/or assembly lines as required. Relocates same as necessary within the department.
Performs audit inspection of trucks received to confirm quantities received.
Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
Performs other related duties as may be required.
Must be able to obtain a licensed and operate lift truck or other material handling equipment.
Must be able to perform all physical demands of the position including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to read work instructions, schematics, and bill of materials and be able to write to fill out log sheets and other routine paperwork.
Must have basic computer knowledge to be able to navigate system and utilize the HMI.
Must have basic math skills including addition and subtraction as well as be able to use a tape measure and calipers.
Shipping/ Receiving experience preferred.
