Inside Sales - Lead Generator

ACCO Brands, one of the world's largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $1.8 billion, is seeking an Inside Sales - Lead Generator to join our Booneville facility. The Lead Generator role focuses on researching and acquiring new business in new accounts with the largest revenue potential. The Lead Generator will offer the full ACCO/ GBC product line.
Duties and Responsibilities
Uses extensive outbound telephone and email communication to perform lead prospecting and generation
Proactively researches potential customers and target markets for new business
Qualifies leads and opportunities through discovery and transitions to appropriate sales reps
Develops knowledge in growing within new accounts and business gained
Develops and executes daily, weekly, and annual sales activity plans for target accounts
Delivers appointments to high level prospective contacts on a daily basis via meetings, emails, phone communications, networking events, and other modes of communication
Scheduling client introductions and meetings to allow for future presentations, proposals, and bid specifications to key decision makers to strategically win new business
Organizes internal resources to develop comprehensive account prospecting plans
Efficiently manages prospect pipeline to produce maximum results
Utilizes internal resources to ensure prospects are not existing or inactive customers currently in our database
Adheres to required and established sales activity metrics and measurements including cold calls, leads generated, and maintaining current record or contacts and sales activities/opportunities in
Reports sales activity results to Inside Regional Manager daily
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date understanding of products and services offered and proactively provides market feedback and data to appropriate company resources and functions

Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience and up to 2 or more years of related selling experience with previous experience of print or office products is a plus
Partner with reseller to enhance the knowledge and pull through opportunities for ACCO/GBC products
Demonstrated ability and track record of achieving goals, objectives and targets
Proficiency (intermediate level) in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Previous experience with sales automation tool or CRM preferred.
Ability to effectively work with and through internal resources (Marketing, Strategic Accounts, Field Sales, Technical Services, A/R, Order Entry and Customer Care) to achieve high customer satisfaction.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
