We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electromechanical Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team.
This is a permanent, full-time position that operates on a 3rd shift schedule.
Responsibilities:
As an Electromechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1.
Performing routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
2.
Troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
3.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.
4.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and techniques.
5.
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
6.
Documenting all maintenance and repair work, and maintaining a comprehensive log of tasks and issues.
7.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
8.
Training other team members on equipment maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of education, experience, and skills, including:
1.
A minimum of three years' experience as an Electromechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment.
2.
Proven experience with maintenance, electromechanical, electrical, and mechanical systems.
3.
Ability to work on a 3rd shift schedule.
4.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electromechanical systems.
5.
Excellent technical skills, with proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
6.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
7.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
8.
A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant safety protocols and procedures.
9.
A degree or diploma in a related field, such as electronics, mechanics, or engineering, is preferred.
